A vast forest somewhere in Montana. Plant life range from towering oak trees to short thistle bushes. There is a large lake directly in the heart of the forest with a house on it. This particular house is well-kept and has a couple living in it. However, there are only three other houses that are currently lived in and maintained. Throughout the sprawling forest there is about eight other houses that are empty and fallen apart; condemned. The forest is named after a oak tree that was struck by lightning during a terrible storm. The tree has been standing for over ten years and shows no signs of falling.

The only town nearby is Lakewood, but almost nobody goes into the forest because there is another smaller forest closer to the small town. Another thing keeping people away is the legend of unspeakable horrors that roam the woods at night...
